Relying on Honeywell's low-carbon technology and deep experience in the refrigeration field, Hisense Home Appliance Group will provide users with healthier and more comfortable products and promote the low-carbon transformation of the refrigeration industry.
For many years, Honeywell has always focused on sustainable development. About 60% of the company's new product research and development is based on improving customers' environmental performance and social benefits. In the field of refrigerants, Honeywell Solstice low global warming potential products are helping manufacturers reduce carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency without reducing the performance of the final product. Among them, Honeywell Solstice454B (R-454B) has similar performance and energy efficiency to the refrigerant R-410A, which is currently the most commonly used refrigerant in the industry, and its advanced technology greatly reduces greenhouse gas emissions during operation. The global warming potential (GWP) of Honeywell Solstice454B (R-454B) is 466, which is about 78% lower than the global warming potential of refrigerant R-410A, and requires less quota for the same usage.
In response to the rapidly growing demand for industrial heat pumps in the Chinese market, Honeywell has launched the breakthrough low global warming potential refrigerant Solstice® N15 (R515B), which can meet the demand for industrial high-temperature heat pumps between 80 and 100°C. It is more energy efficient than traditional heating methods in the range of 80 to 100°C, which will strongly promote the development of the industrial high-temperature heat pump industry chain and help the industry's low-carbon transformation and sustainable development by reducing direct carbon emissions.
