Since R-407C is an HFC-type non-azeotropic environmentally friendly refrigerant (completely free of CFC and HCFC that damage the ozone layer), it is currently recognized and recommended by most countries as a mainstream medium- and high-temperature environmentally friendly refrigerant, and is widely used in the initial installation of new refrigeration equipment and recharge during maintenance. It complies with the standards of the US environmental protection organizations EPA, SNAP, and UL, and meets the A1 safety level category of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) (this is the highest level and is harmless to the human body).

They are usually stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse.They should be loaded and unloaded gently during transportation to prevent damage to the cylinders and accessories such as valves.

R407C is a long-term replacement refrigerant for HCFC-22 that does not damage the ozone layer and can be used in various air-conditioning and positive displacement compression refrigeration systems,such as new and existing household air conditioners and heat pumps. R407C provides similar performance to R22 and can be used to modify the original design of R22 air-conditioning systems. R407C can also replace R502 in existing medium-temperature systems.
