According to the Regulations on the Administration of Ozone-Depleting Substances and the 2025 Quota Allocation Program, China implements strict quota management for ozone-depleting substances (ODS) and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). The Ministry of Ecology and Environment has recently announced that 14 enterprises, including Zhejiang Lanxi Juhua Fluorochemical Co., Ltd. have submitted applications for adjustments to the production quotas of hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and HFCs for the year 2025. As an important initiative to fulfill the Montreal Protocol, China promotes the industrial upgrading of ODS alternatives through the total amount control and dynamic quota adjustment mechanism. The Ministry of Ecology and Environment will review the applications in accordance with the law to ensure that the allocation of quotas is scientifically compliant, helping to realize the dual goals of greenhouse gas emission reduction and ozone layer protection.
